This book wasn't as good as the first one, and seeing as how I wasn't the biggest fan of the first, that's a problem. There's a lot of reading poetry and being romantic, despite the fact that the characters are running from a corrupt society that basically sent them to a place to die. Another problem is that the chapters switch between Cassia and Ky's point of view, and somehow they sound EXACTLY the same. I had to check who was narrating every chapter because otherwise I would get confused. It is important that, if you are switching between characters, each one is distinct and has their own personality and voice.
