The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks - Rebecca Skloot When I started reading this book, I knew nothing about it except for it's name. I didn't know the summary or what genre it was (I am somewhat of a new kindle user so if it is possible to view that kind of information, I don't know it) and I especially don't know much about science, which led to me being somewhat skeptical when I did find out what it was about. I didn't need to worry, as I found this to be such an amazing book. It was a blend of past and present, science, history, and family, and all parts were so interesting. I absolutely devoured this book and was grumpy when interrupted. Adding it to my favorites shelf for sure!
